Synopsis : The story revolves around Mikan Sakura who lives with her grandfather in a small town in the countryside. Her best friend is Hotaru,a prodigy who eventually leaves her to attend a prodigy school in Tokyo. Feeling sadden by her dismissal, Mikan runs away from home and goes to Tokyo in search of Hotaru and eventually finds her studying in Alice Academy.
Alice Academy is a school for gifted children which special powers (like Professor Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters-X-men) .She is discovered by Narumi sensei and she is identified as a holder of the rare Nullification Alice and is accepted into Alice Academy with a trial period .Mikan rekindles her friendship with Hotaru, but is disliked by her classmates.  Eventually, they’ve all grown to be fond of her plus she meets Natsume Hyuga, a boy with a powerful Fire Alice who is used by the Academy. Both of them become rivals but eventually fall in love and I shall not ruin it blah blah. The Anime and the Manga are totally different in story line.

My favorite character would be the crazy Axe Weilding Bear named Mr Bear.He is an animated doll created by a sickly boy named Kaname. Bear lives alone in the Northern woods and he is only friendly towards Tsubasa, Kaname's best friend. Anyone that gets close to Bear will have his/her arse kicked.

I was thinking twice whether to purchase the anime and I'm glad I did. I can't wait for season 2, if there's Season 2 if not I'll go read the manga.
