July Picks and Rant

I feel like writing so here I am. I’ll post up my 2nd and 3rd batch of Sandakan pictures later this week. Just uploading the pictures on blogger can put a mosquito to sleep (which they don’t).  This month is Raya Month which means “Sales” and SALES.

Here in Tawau, the narrow walkways are lined up with small stalls selling Raya clothing,cookies, headwears, knick-knacks, ugly plastic flowers, knockoff Aviator Rayban’s (Will cause serious eye defects)watches, shoes  oh yeah specially shoes, knockoff’s of Adidas/Nike shoes which looks rather pleasing to the eye. I might get a pair. No one’s going to know that it’s FAKE. Seriously, original and fake what’s the diff. Even the workmanship of the originals can be utter shitwork. 

I went shopping alone (As usual) to get my Prince his supply of veggie, morning newspaper and lunch. Visited the bookstore to check for my cheesy mag (Cleo) but it’s not here yet. There’s no proper bookstore here where you can buy your novels. Most reading materials are either in Malay or Chinese even the magazines. The chances of finding trolls and elves are much higher than finding English reading materials.
I bought a couple of things. Few items from last month, so I’m bringing it forward.

June Buys

More nail polish.Love the purple glitter and the blue.I bought two bottles last year and I haven’t tried them out.I shall buy more..Only RM2.50

They can spell Nourishing but can't spell Design..humm.

 I absolutly adore this backpack. It’s made out of raffia strings and sewn with sponge on the inside.Bought it in a gift shop in Semporna for RM 30

July Buys

Yes! It’s nail polish alright, B.O (Bad Odour) Purple and Blue Metallic.I think I should show my nail polish collection.Oh! it’s not that many bottles (ahem).Zip bag case for my makeup.I’ve seperated them from my other bag cause I need space for my other stuff and a twelve coloured eye palette.

What a brand name “Mother Home”..WTF??? but I like the colors. I don’t think I’ll get pus infected eyelids after using them.They maybe not your Urban Decay, MAC and other brands, but I don't give two hoots.The pigmentation on the colors are pretty good,easy to apply with one swab of your finger.I bought this at the 100yen shop for RM 7.00.If I don’t like it, I’ll probably turn the colours into nail polish.

Lastly

I passed by this clothing store the other day and I made a note to go back and so I did.Basically it’s a wholesale shop which caters to korean fashion.I was contemplating whether to enter or leave but since I walked all the way and being curious jane,might as well. Normally,stores like these offer clothing for stick people and I’m not a stick (No Trying...Free Size).

Thankfully I was lucky that day and I managed to bag two floral print blouses for RM 39.90 each.Short sleeved see through chiffon blouse. 

Also, I’ve been doing some online shopping.Yes!! it’s Acessories and plenty of it.Some items are belated gifts for a good friend.She recently bought a jewellery armoir and it needs items. Since it’s August already, two very special people will be celebrating their birthdays..Friend No 1. On the 19th and my BFF on the 20th...How cool is that..Shopping Timeee :}...


OooOO I got myself more clothing,but this time I’m buying them online. It’s a little risky especially pants although they give you the measurements n such.I pray that it fits.Well that’s all for July..

 20acres of land..So far this resort is better than the ones surrounding Sepilok. Don't like it cluttered, but Forest Edge is spread out and it's beautiful.

Oh gawd I have the Runs N....urghh Food poisoning..? (Part2)

My nightmare started on Friday morning, hence the blog I wrote and it continued till yesterday (16/7/2012).I think I must have soaped my ass countless times. I got hold of my husband telepathically on that Friday morning (Yes! I’m still a prepaid user, tragic right??).He came back round 3am; sensing shit must have struck .Indeed shit has struck. Hubby got me all the medication I needed from hospital after work.

Charcoal Pills = Absorbing toxins
Lomotil = Green pill
ORS salts = Dehydration

I felt like a spineless squid as I lay in bed all day with occasional sprints to the loo. I was made to chug down water mixed with charcoal pills and ors. My appetite was rock bottom. Never mind that...what was about to happen next is *speechless*, not a drop of water from the tap...YES!! Major WATER disruption (Due to a pipe burst) and it had to happen at a crucial period and why the F does it have to happen around our area?.

Oh Joy, I’m having the runs and there’s no water .Shit will pile and having a caked ass isn’t something pleasant. So we checked into a Hotel in Town (A nice one as well The Belmont: Marco Polo Hotel with breakfast).Nothing like a glorious bath and rolling on fresh crisp sheets.


It’s now Wednesday noon, water is still unstable but hey least I’m not shitting in my pants anymore (After 4 strips of charcoal pills, Chinese medicine, lomotil ...anything..). Four Five days(I've lost count) of gastro intestinal splatter spray is enough.

Good news, I've lost 3 kilos:}...

(That is why I never liked FUCKING MACDONALD’s and it’s not the 1^st time I had food poisoning from MacD’s)..Where's Burger King???

Oh gawd I have the Runs N....urghh Food poisoning..?

I feel like crap. Food poisoning n crazy viral fever/infection is d bomb. Nothing like runny diarrhoea, projectile vomiting, fever, body ache whatever crazy symptoms which will drive a person insane.
I had Macdonalds for lunch, a large triple cheeseburger meal in which I didn’t finish. Came back and slept for two hours.
Woke up feeling rejuvenated (now I can’t sleep) and at that time, I felt okay. Two hours passed and then it struck me. I felt queasy in the tummy.Maybe taking a dump later should do the trick. About 5.20pm, time for KFC (I wanted to try the spicy Szechuan flavour, but the promo ended, hence I bought Original). I was contemplating to buy or not to buy. I got to eat,but my tummy says “No,don’t buy’.

Came back, Hiroshima needed to be bombed and I did justice until.........it kicked in....Every 5 second or so I ran to the throne. I had the friggin runs and it was sweet smelling (too descriptive?) and to top that, I wanted to throw up. Having the runs is not as bad as throwing up.

So total runs= 6 and throwing up =2. I gotta do something or else I’ll be sleeping in the loo.I ransacked the medicine cupboard, arghh Panadol active (Popped one just to stop throwing up)....It’s been 5hrs already, so far so good. Still having the runs..Dug deeper into medicine cupboard,Ahhhh!! Lomotil. My rosebud is sore. Anymore runs and it will bloom. It is now 1:30am and my stomach is making weird ass noises.

My dinner is in the fridge, my husband is at work and I can’t sleep..Oh joy!!

It is never easy raising a child moreover if you’re a single parent. I have a friend who constantly talks about having a child. Her contestant babbling about how awesome of a mum she’ll be and how she’s going to spoil her child rotten blahblahblahblah sends me to a boredom frenzy. All I can say to her is, a child is not a pet. You can’t even get you act together and you want a child?..INSANE..+ you need a man n my suggestion of a sperm bank is out.Seriously!!!

Anyways,I wish this anime was a lil longer.I get lazy reading mangas and I know there’s a continuation.Wish they could like make my life a lil simple by just prolonging the series a little..Uhh!!. Well give this anime a go.If u want to know what’s next,read the manga.Oh! and by the way RIN is adorable (anime n live action)

P/s : Life Action you say? yep you can get the full movie at You-tube with English Subs. Kenichi Matsuyama plays Daikichi . I didn't finish the movie.It bore me.Give it a try though.
